PFS plans golf outing

COITSVILLE

Protestant Family Service is making plans for its first golf outing fundraiser May 21 at Bedford Trails Golf Course, 713 Bedford Road.

It will be a four-person scramble with a group for those 70 and older.

Registration fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, snacks, dining, cash prizes and auction.

Cost is $75 per golfer; registration is due by May 2. There is a $25 fee for nongolfers that includes dinner and prizes.

Appreciation dinner set for single parents

POLAND

A Single and Parenting appreciation dinner is planned at 6 p.m. Feb. 23 at Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road.

Any single and parenting person in the community is invited.
