70-plus dogs to benefit from Wednesday event

Animal Charity Humane Society is sponsoring a night of fun and relaxation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at 6545 Clingan Road, Poland, to benefit the dogs in their care.

Participants can enjoy a glass of wine or their favorite BYOB beverage while an instructor from Wonderstruck Artisans teaches them how to paint “Puppy Love.” Outside food and drink are welcome.

Cost is $40. Space is limited, and all proceeds go directly to the care of more than 70 dogs in the society’s daily care.

Preregistration and prepayment are required. Payment can be made at Animal Charity, 4140 Market St. in Youngstown or through paypal at www.animalcharityofohio.org; note Sip ’n Paint in the purpose section.

Animal Charity is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit organization with a full service veterinary clinic.

It is the only humane society in Mahoning County.
