Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, active exercise at 8 a.m., 30 minutes with God, senior spinning and piloxing at 9, monthly membership meeting at 9:30, bingo, painting class, quilting and shooting class at 10, Drums Alive at 10:15, advanced computer class at 11:30, lunch at noon and undeck the center at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, active exercise at 8 a.m., pilates and video class on thermodynamics at 9, S.O.S. at 9:30, bingo, quilting and crocheting at 10, line dancing at 10:30, chair yoga and iPad class at 11:30, lunch at noon and advisory council meeting at 12:30 p.m.; Wednesday, active exercise at 8 a.m., 30 minutes with God, video class on forensic history and blood pressure checks at 9, intermediate computer class, bingo, quilting and pump express at 10, senior spinning (E) at 10:30, advanced computer class at 11:30, $3 pizza party at noon and TOPS at 12:15 p.m.; Thursday, active exercise at 8 a.m., video class on inventions that changed the world at 8:50, vets helping vets and wood carving at 9, S.O.S. at 9:30, chair yoga, quilting and crocheting at 10, knitting at 11 and lunch/grocery bingo at noon; and Friday, active exercise, 30 minutes with God, video class on South America and senior spinning (S) at 9, senior spinning (E) at 9:30, bingo and quilting at 10, fencing at 10:30 and 11:30, and out to lunch bunch Phoenix at 1:30 p.m. For information call 330-953-1416 or visit www.austintownseniorcenter.webs.com.

Gathering Place event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Lord of Life Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield. There will be yoga and grocery bingo, and lunch will be provided. This is a free community outreach social program offered to all senior citizens on the second Monday of each month. A variety of games and activities are offered. Guardian Angels of Ohio, a volunteer program of Trumbull County Probate Court, is looking for new volunteers. Angel volunteers receive training to become advocates who reach out as friends to seniors who may need a friendly phone call, a visit in a nursing home or a visit at home. Angels also are involved in planning special events for seniors such as health fairs and Make a Difference day projects. The group will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Shepherd of the Valley, 4100 N.
