SENIOR CITIZENS

Austintown AARP 4339 will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Austintown Senior Center. Guests are welcome. There will be installation of officers and board members, and a memorial service to honor deaths of members in 2015. Dues are being collected, and refreshments will be served. Volunteers are needed to serve at the Rescue Mission on Monday; call 330-792-7459. If Austintown schools are closed because of bad weather, the AARP meeting also will be canceled. The Noteables Chorus will perform at Woodlands Assisted Living on Jan. 28; rehearsals are 1 p.m. Tuesdays this month in the new AARP meeting room. New members are welcome. Local 2243 U.S.W.A. Copperweld Steel Co. (S.O.A.R. Chapter 1-28-10) will meet at 1 p.m. Jan. 21 at Windsor House in Champion, 235 Champion Ave. East. Guest speaker will be Bill Leiby, a pharmacist. Refreshments will be served.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Seniors will meet Wednesday after the noon Mass. John Mascardine will preside, and reports will be given by Beverly Pondillo and Ann Leone. Lunch will be served, and birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. There will be a 50-50 drawing, and cards and bingo will be played. Guests are welcome.
