Milwaukee 65, Cleveland State 62

Austin Arians scored 13 points and Milwaukee survived a late scare from Cleveland State. Milwaukee (12-5, 3-1 Horizon) led 39-27 at halftime and scored the first six of the first eight points of the second half to take a 45-29 lead. A Matt Tiby 3-pointer 14:28 to go gave the Panthers a 53-35 lead, their largest of the game. Then the Vikings (5-12, 0-4) started to chip away with Jibri Blount hitting back-to-back jumpers to ignite a 10-0 run which cut the Milwaukee lead to 60-56 with 5:21 left, but Cleveland State could not get all the way back. Two Jordan Johnson free throws with 22 seconds remaining for Milwaukee made it 65-60. The Vikings had a final chance to tie but Andre Yates turned it over. J.J. Panoske added 12 points for Milwaukee. Yates had 15 for Cleveland State.

Wright State 60, Northern Kentucky 46

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY.

Mark Alstork had 18 points and six rebounds to help Wright State beat Northern Kentucky. Wright State trailed 28-27 at halftime but started the second half on a 19-4 spurt for a 46-32 lead. JT Yoho scored seven points during the 10-minute stretch and Grant Benzinger added five. Northern Kentucky cut it to single digits with four minutes left but Wright State answered with an 8-0 run for a 60-43 lead. The Norse only made one field goal in the final eight minutes. Yoho finished with 13 points and six assists for Wright State (8-8, 2-1 Horizon). Joe Thomasson had 11 points and seven rebounds. Jalen Billups led Northern Kentucky (4-10, 0-3) with nine points and nine rebounds. Both teams made just four 3-pointers and eight free throws but Northern Kentucky turned it over 13 times.
