up for adoption
How to adopt: Call West Side Cats at 330-792-4228. Visit them at the shelter at 2217 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown.
Name: Yoda
Info: Yoda and his siblings were brought into West Side Cats at two days old, and were not expected to live because their cords were tangled. After some wonderful fostering by a caring volunteer, Yoda and his siblings are 10 weeks old and doing well. He is a typical kitten, bouncing off the walls and just about everything else. Love him, you will!
Name: Boba Fett
Info: Boba is Yoda’s younger brother, and was born with an umbilical hernia that has since healed up quite nicely. Yoda, Boba and the rest of the litter were born on Aug. 21. Like his Star Wars namesake, he’s always on an adventure! He’s young and friendly, so he’d likely make a wonderful companion to other cats, dogs and children.
Hours: 2 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; Closed Sunday and Monday.
Info: Both cats have been neutered and are up-to-date on their shots. They tested negative for feline AIDS and leukemia. They have been flea-treated and dewormed and are ready to go home.
