Sip a beverage, paint a keepsake to help 70-plus dogs

Animal Charity Humane Society is sponsoring a night of fun and relaxation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at 6545 Clingan Road, Poland, to benefit the dogs in their care.

Participants can enjoy a glass of wine or their favorite BYOB beverage while an instructor from Wonderstruck Artisans teaches them how to paint “Puppy Love.” Outside food and drink are welcome.

Cost is $40. Space is limited, and all proceeds go directly to the care of more than 70 the dogs in the society’s daily care.

Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. Payment can be made at Animal Charity, 4140 Market St. in Youngstown or through paypal at www.animalcharityofohio.org; note Sip ’n Paint in the purpose section.

Animal Charity is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit organization with a full service veterinary clinic.

It is the only humane society in Mahoning County.
