BOARDMAN
A Poland man is charged with public indecency and criminal damaging after purportedly performing a sex act on himself at Kohl’s department store.
Charged with the misdemeanor offenses is Alddo Molinar, 37, of Capri Court.
An employee at the store at 383 Boardman-Poland Road reported to police Thursday that Molinar followed a woman around the store, and repeatedly exposed himself and performed a sexual act while in various shopping aisles.
Molinar was released on a summons and is scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Area Court on Tuesday.
In a separate case, township police are investigating a reported instance of voyeurism and attempted burglary at a Lemans Drive apartment about 2:15 a.m. Friday.
A person told police she heard someone trying to force his way through a window, and then observed a man performing a sexual act on himself outside her window.
Minutes before that call, police responded to a West Boulevard apartment after a resident reported that someone tried to break into her apartment.
