Youngstown man faces drug charge after arrest in Campbell


CAMPBELL — A traffic stop Wednesday led to a man’s arrest for trafficking in cocaine.

Police stopped William Jennings, 49, of Youngstown about 6:20 p.m. near Courtland Avenue for having no tail light and no rear license plate illumination, according to a police report.

The report says the officer place Jennings under arrest for multiple driving-under-suspension violations and that police found an open alcoholic container and 3 grams total of suspected cocaine in various small bags.

Jennings is also charged with driving under the influence, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension. He will be arraigned Friday in Campbell Municipal Court.
