Thomas and Barbara Micco of Struthers are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Micco of Struthers, and Donald C. Lambert of Greenville, Pa., son of Donald W. and Debra Lambert, also of Greenville.

The couple have chosen Oct. 7 as their wedding date with the ceremony planned at St. Nicholas Church of Christ Our Savior Parish. A reception will be at Mahoning Country Club in Girard. Invitations will be issued for both.

The bride-elect graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She is an English teacher at East High School in Youngstown City Schools.

Her fiance earned a bachelor’s degree in business management at Shenango campus of Pennsylvania State University. He is employed by Astralloy Steel in Sharon, Pa.
