Judge to delay Cosby’s wife’s deposition
Judge to delay Cosby’s wife’s deposition
Springfield, Mass.
A federal judge has agreed to postpone the deposition of Bill Cosby’s wife in a Massachusetts lawsuit that accuses the comedian of defaming several women.
Camille Cosby had been scheduled to be deposed today by lawyers for the women who said Bill Cosby sexually assaulted them decades ago.
Last week, U.S. Magistrate Judge David Hennessey denied a motion by Camille Cosby’s lawyers to throw out the subpoena.
She appealed and on Monday asked Judge Hennessey to delay the deposition until the appeal is heard.
The judge agreed Tuesday to the postponement, saying it would be unfair to deny Camille Cosby her right to appeal. He says if the appeal is denied, the deposition should be rescheduled quickly.

Guns N’ Roses, LCD Soundsystem to headline Coachella
INDIO, CALIF.
LA rockers Guns N’ Roses will headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, along with DJ Calvin Harris and reunited electronic rock band LCD Soundsystem.
Passes for the two-weekend festival in Indio, California, on April 15-17 and April 22-24 go on sale today.
The lineup doesn’t indicate which members of Guns N’ Roses will perform. A representative the band didn’t return messages Tuesday seeking clarification.
Although lead singer Axl Rose continues to record and tour, guitarist Slash hasn’t performed with Rose since announcing he quit the band in 1996. The band, whose debut album, “Appetite for Destruction,” sold 18 million copies, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.
James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem wrote on the band’s website on Tuesday that the band will be releasing a new album five years after calling it quits in 2011.
