Coroner: Body has no signs of foul play

HUBBARD

Trumbull County Coroner Dr. Humphrey Germaniuk says an external examination of a body found Monday outside a Hubbard grocery store reveals no signs of foul play.

A full autopsy, including a toxicology report, is still pending. Police have identified the deceased as Leo Petrosky, 38, of Youngstown.

Hubbard police responded Monday about 12:24 p.m. to a dispatch from the county 911 center. Officers found a man dead in a grassy, wooded area next to the Save-A-Lot grocery store on West Liberty Street.

The body was covered in snow, Hubbard Sgt. Chris Moffitt said. Hubbard police continue to investigate with assistance from Hubbard Township police, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the coroner’s office.

Court records show that Petrosky pleaded guilty in November to a misdemeanor charge of receiving stolen property worth less than $500. Petrosky was charged through the Austintown Police Department.
