Vic theater postpones ‘Same Time’

The Victorian Players production of “Same Time Next Year,” originally scheduled for this month, has been postponed to June 17-26. The play will star local newscasters Glenn Stevens and Regina Reynolds.

Added to the schedule in the January slot is “A Date with the Bronte Sisters,” a one-woman show by Carol Weakland. It will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 22, 23, 29 and 30; and 2 p.m. Jan. 24 and 31.

Weakland spent time in the Bronte parsonage and gained insight into how it suffused their characters in novels such as “Jane Eyre” and “Wuthering Heights.” She brings the sisters to life in her play.
