Amazon: shoppers ordered more than 23M items on Cyber Monday

SEATTLE (AP) — Items ordered from Amazon on Cyber Monday rose more than 40 percent this year, exceeding 23 million for the first time.

The Seattle company said today that in 2015, it delivered more than a billion items around the world. During the holiday season, items shipped worldwide grew more than 60 percent from a year earlier.
