Maurice Clarett arrested for DUI over the weekend

COLUMBUS — The Columbus Dispatch reported that Former Ohio State star running back Maurice Clarett was charged with driving under the influence on Sunday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.

Clarett, 32, of Canal Winchester, formerly of Youngstown, was driving an Infiniti SUV north on Interstate 71 in Morrow County shortly before 2 p.m. when he was stopped for changing lanes without signaling, according to police and court documents. The patrol said it had received calls about erratic driving.

Troopers said Clarett refused a blood-alcohol test and was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and a turn-signal violation.
