I’ve always been an all-or-nothing kind of person, approaching challenges with the concept of “bloom where planted.”

Two years ago, I was given an incredible opportunity to do just that, but as they say, all good things must come to an end.

How do I begin to touch on the experiences here?

The Mahoning Valley is truly a unique place to be. It has been such a privilege to meet so many people with a story to tell. From photographing my favorite band (Counting Crows) to attending vigils where families, despite their grief, invite you in to celebrate their loved one (Cody Pitts).

Thank you to The Vindicator and its staff for the opportunity to thrive here. But more importantly, thank you to those in the Valley who let me into their lives, camera in hand. My time spent here will leave memories that will last a lifetime.
