Farmers National Bank recently announced Kenneth C. Kondas, an investment adviser representative in the bank’s McClurg Road, Boardman office, has been authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to use the Certified Financial Planner and CFP certification marks in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements.

Matt Werner, director of corporate manufacturing for Compco Industries of Columbiana, recently received Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt Certification through the Ohio State University and a master’s in business operational excellence through OSU. Werner, a second-generation worker for Compco, has been there for five years. The company manufactures tank heads, tank ends, pressure vessel tank heads, large, cold- formed tank heads and other metal stampings,

MENTAL HEALTH

PsyCare Inc., an outpatient behavioral health care provider with clinics in Austintown, Boardman, Canfield, Cortland, East Liverpool, Howland, Liberty, Struthers and Warren, once again achieved accreditation from a joint commission.

The commission seeks to continuously improve health care for the public, by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value through voluntary accreditation.

The on-site four-day survey of PsyCare occurred from Nov. 17 through Nov. 20, which included a review of patient records, PsyCare’s policies and procedures, interviews with patients and staff members, and inspections of the clinics.

Since its inception, PsyCare has received reaccreditation from the commission on a triennial basis for the past 30 years.
