Amusement park expert Pete Trabucco has released his 2016 list of the world’s top amusement

Amusement park expert Pete Trabucco has released his 2016 list of the world’s top amusement parks, which gives the highest marks to the parks that offer an experience that is long remembered. Ohio’s Cedar Point, a perennial champion of roller coaster afficionados, tops Trabucco’s list. Kennywood Park near Pittsburgh landed the No. 10 spot, while Kings Island near Cincinnati came in at No. 13. Here are the top five:

v Cedar Point: Sandusky, Ohio

v Walt Disney World: Orlando, Fla.

v Six Flags Magic Mountain: Valencia, Calif.

v Universal Studio’s Islands of Adventure: Orlando, Fla.

v Disneyland/California Adventure: Anaheim, Calif.

“Galavant” (8 p.m., ABC): Last season’s delightful, silly medieval musical tale returns.

“Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life” (8:30 P.M., FOX): This is a new comedy about a post-college 20-something (Jack Cutmore-Scott) and his pals, who seem to have a habit of careening from one disaster to the next.

“Downton Abbey” (9 p.m., PBS): It’s the beginning of the end for this beloved British soap. As the final season opens, there’s anxiety in the air. Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) faces a blackmail threat, Mrs. Hughes (Phyllis Logan) is nervous about her impending marriage to Carson, and Violet (Maggie Smith) is upset over a possible change at the hospital. On top of it all, the fiscal realities of 1925 may force Downton to – gasp! – downsize.

“Bordertown” (9:30 P.M., FOX): In the new animated satire “Bordertown,” two very different families living on the U.S.-Mexico border routinely butt heads. Hank Azaria leads the voice talent.

“A celebration of downton abbey” (10:15 P.M., PBS): Clips from upcoming episodes and interviews with cast and producers.
