Up to 4 inches of snow forecast for parts of Valley overnight tonight

VIENNA

Old Man Winter is expected to make a brisk return to the Mahoning Valley tonight and Monday.

Snow showers with an accumulation of up to 3 inches in Mahoning County and 4 inches in northern Trumbull County are expected overnight. Lows will fall to the lower 20s.

The weather service calls for more snow Monday, mainly in the morning. Additional snow accumulation will be around an inch. Highs in the mid 20s. North winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow near 100 percent.

Monday night will be mostly cloudy and particularly brisk, with a low about 10 degrees above zero.

Warmer conditions are forecast for Tuesday.
