WEATHERSFIELD
Weathersfield police are still looking for a Niles woman accused of stealing money from an elderly victim.
According to 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner, a felony warrant has been issued for 30-year-old Kymieca McGeorge.
Police say McGeorge is wanted on a charge of theft from an elderly person and intimidation of a victim.
The TV station reported investigators say McGeorge took the money without permission, and when the purported victim confronted her, she promised she would pay the money back.
Charges were filed several weeks after the money was not returned.
The warrant was issued after McGeorge failed to appear for a hearing Wednesday in Niles Municipal Court.
