Warren man killed in Florida car crash

Milton C. Hunter, 82, of Warren, was killed shortly after noon Thursday on Interstate 75 just north of state Route 72 in Sarasota County, Fla.

The Florida Highway Patrol report said Hunter was traveling north in the center lane of I-75 when he collided with tire debris causing him to lose control of his car which overturned on the grass shoulder of the road and came to rest on its roof.

Hunter, the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene from crash injuries, according to the Florida patrol.
