Authorities: Husband, wife die in southwest Ohio house fire


BLUE CREEK, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say a husband and wife are dead after a house fire in southwest Ohio over the weekend.

The blaze broke out around 2 a.m. Sunday in Blue Creek.

The Adam’s County Sheriff’s Department says 66-year-old Carl Hochchild Jr. and 61-year-old Cynthia Hochchild were killed in the fire. Their son and his wife were able to escape the flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
