The Sportsman’s Fishing & Hunting Super Show and Sale will take place March 4-6 at McMenamy’s Banquet Center, Route 422.
Hours are noon to 8 p.m. March 4, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 5, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 6.
The show features tackle specials, hunting equipment, turkey calls, tree stands, camouflage clothes, boats, boating accessories, electronics and much more.
Live animals with Heather Merit’s “Birds of Prey” will be up close and in person.
The first 100 children, accompanied by an adult, on March 5 and 6 will receive free rods, provided by the Trumbull Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs.
There will be many seminars, demos and giveaways, and the Country Pride Bluegrass Band will perform March 5 and 6.

Fishing expo
Minerva, Ohio
The 2016 Berlin Bass Casters Fishing Expo will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. March 4 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 5 and 6 at the Minerva Community Building, 123 Brock Ave.
The expo will feature new and used fishing tackle, boats and a 50/50 raffle. Admission is $2 and free for children under 14.
Speaker to deliver address at wild-game dinner
VIENNA
Gary Fornery, hunter, fisherman, Artic bush pilot and missionary, will be guest speaker at the annual wild-game dinner at 6 p.m. March 5 at Liberty Bible Church, 2111 Sodom Hutchings Road. He will speak on his adventures.
Vince DeNiro, a firearms executive, will set up a gun display.
The dinner is free, but tickets are required. For reservations, call 330-638-1578.
Guests may bring a salad or dessert. Donations also will be accepted. There will be door prizes. No child-care services will be provided.
Turkey shoots
Lowellville
The Lowellville Rod & Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, will have turkey shoots every Tuesday from March 8 to April 26.
Shoots start at 7 p.m. Sign up at 6. Shells will be provided at a cost of $2 per shell.

Hunter safety course

The Lowellville Rod & Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, is having a hunter safety course from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 12 and 13.

Eastern Ohio Conservation Club, 10366 West Calla Road, is having a free hunter safety class from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 9 and 10.
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided by the club. Limit is 30 students.

Concealed carry

Eastern Ohio Conservation Club, 10366 West Calla Road, is having an NRA-certified concealed-carry class from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 16.
