Catholic radio plans pledge drive
CANTON
Living Bread Radio Network, Catholic radio AM 1060 and 89.5 FM, will conduct its spring pledge drive from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday on the theme “Spreading the Truth of God’s Mercy” in line with the Year of Mercy as declared by Pope Francis.
Interviews with national and local program hosts will air during the pledge drive. In-studio guests include Bishop George Murry of the Diocese of Youngstown and local pastors.

Jewish/Christian Studies/North will focus on mysticism in different faith traditions during a program Wednesday at Temple El Emeth, 3970 Logan Way.
The group gathers at 12:30 p.m. with the study at 1. Dr. Kong T. Oh of the Baha’i community will speak.

Juanita Rogers will be ordained a minister at 4 p.m. Sunday at Gospel Temple Baptist Church, 279 Whipple Ave., where the Rev. Melvin D. Brown is pastor.
A member for more than 25 years, she is in charge of missions and is a Sunday school teacher.
