Voice students to give recital
YOUNGSTOWN
Students in Dana School of Music professor Misook Yun’s vocal studio will present a free recital at 3 p.m. Sunday in Bliss Recital Hall, on the Youngstown State University campus.
Eleven students will perform both classical and contemporary pieces as solos during the concert. The students are: AnnaMaria Jadue, mezzo-soprano; Sara Eckenrode, soprano; Katy Howells, soprano; Victoria Remley, soprano; Anthony Humphrey, baritone; Victor S. Cardamone, tenor; Kathleen Bachtel, soprano; Erika Walker, mezzo-soprano; Nicholas Hazelton, baritone; Anna Murcko, soprano; and Brianna Crawford, mezzo-soprano.
‘Star Wars’ film at OMNIMAX

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” in IMAX will open March 4 at the Great Lakes Science Center’s OMNIMAX Theater.
The film will be projected from 70mm film on a giant screen, with key sequences shot with IMAX cameras, which are the highest-resolution cameras in the world.
Screenings will not include previews. Guests should arrive at least 30 minutes before start time, and will be permitted to enter wearing “Star Wars” costumes. However, guests may be asked to remove masks or partial face coverings.
Weapons of any type, including lightsabers, blasters and toys designed to look like weapons, will not be permitted.
Tickets are $11 ($9 for children) and go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the box office, GreatScience.com and by phone at 216-621-2400.
