Stadium Drive Elementary School celebrated Valentine’s Day on Feb. 11.

Debbie Seifert’s second-grade class celebrated with a party at the end of the day, including many Valentine’s treats.

Parents came to the class to help out with the party and the children brought in treats to pass out to their classmates.

“The party was at the end of the day, but all day they passed out their valentines. Dr. Bisconti came in and spoke to us today,” said Seifert.

Bisconti, a local dentist, comes in every year to speak to the students and pass out toothbrushes and other dental gifts.

This year was perfect timing with Bisconti visiting just before the Valentine’s parties.

All of the students also brought in Valentine’s Day boxes that they made for collecting Valentines from other students. They ate candy, cookies, cupcakes and several other treats that the class brought in for the party.

One of the students even had a selfie stick that she used to take pictures with her classmates at the party.

The students had the chance to end their school week with a fun party with their classmates and parents.
