The third grade students of Poland Dobbins Elementary celebrated their 100th day of school on Feb. 4 with 100 piece puzzles.

All of the third-grade classes had the opportunity to spend time with their friends from other classes during the 100th day of school.

Half of the third-grade classes celebrated their 100th day in the morning while the other half celebrated in the afternoon.

The students used the library and the cafeteria to piece their puzzles together. A few students would form their own group to work on a puzzle together. The puzzles picked out were 100 pieces to celebrate the 100th day.

The 100th day of school is usually celebrated later in the year at Dobbins due to snow days prolonging the event. This year there weren’t any snow days, which allowed the children to celebrate earlier in the year than normal.

Having a landmark day in the school year to celebrate got the students excited. They were able to take a break from their regular class schedule to celebrate being in school for 100 days.
