Woman with kids in car charged with impaired driving

A township woman is charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and child endangering after she was stopped by police early Thursday on Midlothian Boulevard near Market Street.
Toya Scott, 31, of Erie Street, is charged for allegedly driving while impaired with two young children in the car.
Her blood-alcohol concentration registered at .209, according to a police report. The state legal limit is .08.
During a separate stop Wednesday night, township police arrested Karrie Kascsak, 27, of Warren, on charges of possession of drug-abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. They reportedly found hypodermic needles containing drug residue, needle caps and a burnt spoon with residue in her purse during a traffic stop on South Avenue near Tiffany South.
