Creating an Ornamental Garden
When: Saturday, 10 to 11:30 a.m.
What: Can’t wait for spring? Look no further! This class will provide the beginning gardener with resources to create and keep-up an ornamental garden. Garden designer Bridget Beck will provide all the basics to start thinking about an ornamental garden plan and things to consider for the garden’s health and longevity.

LUNCH IN A JAR
When: Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m.
What: Judi Strauss will explain why this current trend is popular. The idea is to layer ingredients in a Mason jar so that you can prep a week’s worth of lunches and take one with you to work each day.

Cost: Food fee is $9 per person.

MAPLE SUGARING WORKSHOP
When: Sunday, 2 to 3:30 p.m.
What: Take a crash course in making maple syrup. Tree ID, tapping demonstration and information on how to collect and boil sap will be included. The indoor/outdoor program will take place rain or shine. Register by Friday.

Spring Seminar

OSU Ext. master gardener training
When: Wednesdays, March 9 to May 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What: Master gardener volunteers provide such educational services to their communities as: answering gardening questions from the public, conducting plant clinics, gardening activities with children, senior citizens, disabled.
