“Don’t Hug Me,” directed by Terri Gilbert, Trumbull New Theater, 5883 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles, auditions from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday. Three men and two women, age 35 and older, are needed for singing roles. Songs from the show can be heard on the Samuel French website. Those auditioning will read from the script. “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,SDRq directed by Sam Luptak Jr., Victorian Players, Victorian Players Theatre, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, auditions at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Be prepared to read from the script. Needed are seven men, four women and four children of various ages and ethnicities. The lead roles of Maggie and Brick have been cast, but all others are open. “The Strand Project,SDRq Selah Restaurant, 130 S. Bridge St., Struthers, auditions at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The project needs 19 actors, men and women age 17 and older, to each perform a dramatic monologue as a part of a two-night writers’ and actors’ showcase.
