Woman faces charges after Kmart parking lot assault
BOARDMAN — A Youngstown woman faces multiple charges after she allegedly assaulted a friend in a Kmart parking lot after he refused to lend her $2,000, according to a police report.
Ashley Milton, 24, of Duncan Lane, is charged with misdemeanor counts of obstructing official business, assault, resisting arrest and intimidation for the incident reported Tuesday. She is scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Area Court here Thursday.
Police responded to Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road, Tuesday night in reference to a fight.
There, the alleged victim reported that after he gave Milton a ride to Kmart, she struck him in the face, punched and kicked him because he refused to pay for items she was shopping for.
Milton also reportedly threatened the victim in the presence of two police officers, according to the report, and struggled when police tried to detain her.
