Reverse raffle dinner set for March 11

The Boardman Schools Fund for Educational Excellence will sponsor its first annual reverse raffle dinner at 6 p.m. March 11 at Holiday Inn, 7410 South Ave.

The event will offer a dinner, basket raffle, silent auction and a series of cash prizes, including a grand prize of $2,000.

The Fund for Educational Excellence, a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, has awarded more than $40,000 in grant projects benefiting students in the Boardman School district since 2009.
