Vietnam heroes book author here Thursday

Mack Payne, author of “Conversations with Vietnam Heroes” and a decorated Vietnam War veteran, will have a book signing from 9 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Fit Family Fitness Center, 6255 Mahoning Ave.

“Conversations with Vietnam Heroes” is the true account of nine Army, Marine Corps, Navy and Air Force veterans who share vivid accounts of their combat-related stories of their time in Vietnam and their lives after the war.

Joining Payne is John Bullock of Austintown, one of the heroes featured in the book. Bullock will sign books and talk about his experiences in Vietnam working in the medical field saving lives.

Payne, with two years of service in Vietnam, is a Vietnam expert and prolific writer and professional speaker. Copies of “Conversations with Vietnam Heroes” will be available for sale at the book signing at the reduced price of $10.
