Large theft reported at Fithian Contracting in Boardman

Township police are investigating a break-in at an area business in which more than $10,000 worth of property reportedly was stolen.

The owner of Fithian Contracting on Southern Boulevard reported early Monday that someone had stolen $10,000 worth of hand tools, $110 in cash, a video surveillance box and two computers overnight. 

Police discovered that a secured door had been pried open, according to a police report.
