Kasich will give his annual State of the State Address in Marietta in April
COLUMBUS — Gov. John Kasich will give his annual State of the State Address in Marietta in April, after lawmakers return from their spring break.
The event is set for April 6 at 7 p.m. in the recently renovated People’s Bank Theater, located on Putnam Street in the city’s downtown area, near the confluence of the Ohio and Muskingum rivers.
The governor’s appearance before the joint session of the Ohio House and Senate will mark the fifth time Kasich has taken the annual speech on the road, following earlier appearances in Steubenville, Lima, Medina and Wilmington.
This year’s State of the State will also be the latest given in at least two decades.
