Golf Classic committee plans April events

The Pink Ribbon Golf Classic committee will host two events in April to benefit the American Cancer Society.

A golf clinic is set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 13 at the Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St., Girard. Participants will receive instruction and practice in driving, chipping and putting for the cost of $25 per person.

A high tea where variety of teas and finger food will be served will be offered at 11 a.m. April 24 at Piccadilly Parlour Victorian Tea Room, 114 S. Broad St., Canfield. Wearing hats and gloves is optional, but encouraged. Cost is $25 per person.
