St. Rose to host winter warm-up cook-off

GIRARD

St. Rose Church, 48 E. Main St., will host a winter warm-up cook-off from 12:30 to 3 p.m. March 6 in Rosetta Hall.

Nine chefs will prepare a favorite casserole dish for guests to sample and vote. People’s Choice awards will be given. More cooks also are being sought. Donations of gift cards or monetary donations for an all-gift card basket auction are being accepted, and can be dropped off in the Sunday collection basket or at the parish office. Baked goods for a bake sale also are needed.

Tickets are $7 each and can be purchased at the parish office in advance or at the door.

Donated cards should be placed in a sealed envelope, labeled with your name, cook-off auction and care of Jan Knight.
