SENIOR CITIZENS

AARP 4611 East will meet Friday at St. Augustine Church, 614 Parmelee Ave., Youngstown. An executive board meeting takes place at 11 a.m., and Wayna Hightower will speak at noon. Dues will be collected, and there will be a 50-50 raffle. Guests and new members are welcome. Illnesses and deaths should be reported to Evelyn Jenkins at 330-530-2734. A bus trip is planned for May 21 to see “God’s Trumbone” at 2:30 p.m. at Karamu Theater in Cleveland. The cost of $75 includes transportation, lunch and entertainment. The first payment of $45 is due by March 1, and the second is $30 on April 1. The bus will leave at 11 a.m. from Belmont Wal-Mart parking lot at the south fence by Goldie Road.
