Kent Festival seeks artist submissions

KENT, OHIO

The 10th annual Main Street Kent Art & Wine Festival will take place from noon to 10 p.m. June 4 in downtown Kent and will feature local artists, live entertainment and wineries from around Ohio.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Main Street Kent, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization of the downtown.

Organizers are accepting artist applications for original art in the categories of watercolor, oil/acrylic, clay, photography, sculpture, graphics/drawing, mixed media and others.

Applications, photo or digital examples of art and the $75 application fee are due by March 7. Student application fees will be $35, and a copy of a student ID is required for consideration.

Those that meet this deadline will be given priority consideration in booth placement. Second round applications are due April 11. Application fees will be refunded to those not selected by the jury.
