Entries for art show

YOUNGSTOWN

The YWCA of Youngstown, 25 W. Rayen Ave., is accepting entries for its 34th Annual Women Artists: A Celebration! Art Exhibition on display from June 18 to July 15.

The exhibition showcases works by local, regional and national women artists age 18 and older, and the juried show features paintings, drawings, photographs, fiber, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry and metal work. A special rate will be offered for artists 18 to 25. Entry forms are due by March 28 and are available by calling 330-746-6361, ext. 102 or visiting WomenArtists.ywca.org/2016, where an online entry option is also available. Artists may enter a maximum of five entries.

The 2016 juror is Dr. Stephanie L. Smith, professor of art history at Youngstown State University. An exhibition preview party is set for 7 to 9 p.m. June 17 at the YWCA. For information visit ywca.org/youngstown.
