Brownlee Woods Neighborhood Association will meet Thursday at Faith Community Church, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd. Refreshments and social time will take place at 6 p.m., and a business meeting will follow at 6:30. Meetings are open to the public.
Councilwoman Basia Adamczak, D-7th, and a community police officer will attend. Guest speaker is Anthony D’Apolito, administrator of the juvenile court and the unopposed Democratic candidate for judge of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court in the March 15 primary.
$25K to OH WOW!

The Home Savings Charitable Foundation presented a $25,000 check Friday to OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology, 11 W. Federal St. The funds will be used to sponsor an exhibit.
Cemetery cleanups

All artificial flowers and decorations must be removed from graves, monuments and mausoleum crypts before March 1 from the Diocese of Youngstown Cemeteries, including Calvary and Resurrection Cemeteries, and All Souls Cemetery in Cortland and Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
Dem fundraiser

The Warren City Democrats Inc. will have a champagne brunch fundraiser at 10 a.m. March 5 at Enzo’s Restaurant, 2918 Elm Road. Cost is $20 per person. For information, call Theresa Salcone at 330-372-5834.
The group has been in existence for about 30 years, Salcone said. It’s purpose is to assist Trumbull County Democratic candidates.
Decoration removal
NILES
The caretaker at St. Stephen Cemetery, Niles Warren River Road, has asked that all Christmas decorations be removed by March 14.
Any decorations that remain after that date will be discarded. New spring arrangements will not be removed.
STEM night set
LOWELLVILLE
Lowellville schools will host a STEM night from 5 to 7 p.m. March 1. The event is open to students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
