Boardman trustees swear in four firefighters

BOARDMAN — Township trustees swore in four entry-level firefighters at a meeting tonight.

The new firefighters are Cory Hinderliter, Steven Stilson, Tyler Simpkins and Jonathan Park.

Under the contract between the firefighters union and the township, entry-level firefighters make $26,500 per year. Effective March 1, firefighters get an annual salary increase of $1,250.
