Feb. 8
Mail theft: A package was reported stolen at a home in the 70 block of Maple Street.
Feb. 9
Criminal trespass: An ex-employee of Dollar General, 477 W. Main St., is accused of making unwanted harassing phone calls and texts to the store and also showed up at the store. Police issued a criminal-trespass warning.
Feb. 12
Drug abuse: Police arrested Thomas Barber, 29, of Hayes Lane, Bessemer, Pa., on charges of drug abuse, possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia and failure to appear on warrants from Canfield Mayor’s Court.

Feb. 8
Warrant: Police arrested Edwin Wyatt, 50, of Palmyra Road, Warren, on a warrant for failure to appear on traffic charges and for contempt of court.
Theft: A total of $150 worth of property was stolen from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A total of $272.26 worth of property was stolen from Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A total of $746.98 worth of property was stolen from Walmart.
Feb. 9
Theft: A purse was stolen at Marc’s,4755 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A 2005 GMC Canyon was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.
Theft: A CB radio was stolen from a tractor-trailer parked at Fyda Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.
Fraud: A total of $305.02 was illegally charged on a debit card at Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Telecommunications harassment: The harassment was reported at a home in the 4000 block of Viall Road.
Assault: A female was reportedly assaulted by a male at Davidson’s, 3636 Canfield Road.
Fraud: A male paid for his bill with gift cards with zero balance at Elixir, 4278 New Road.
Theft: A checkbook was taken from a patient’s room at Humility House, 755 Ohltown Road.
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were reported on the account of a person at a home in the 3000 block of Dunbar Avenue.
Feb. 10
Recovered property: Drugs were found in a repossessed car at Country Inn and Suites, 5570 Interstate Blvd.
Theft: A metal grinder was stolen from a truck bed at Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: An iPhone 6 Plus smartphone was stolen at Bill’s Place,4771 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Police issued a summons to Jaymie Meade, 25, of North Palmyra Road, North Jackson, on a theft charge. Police charged Meade with taking merchandise valued at $33.12 from Walmart .
Theft: An unauthorized charge was made to a credit card of a person at a home in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Feb. 11
Domestic violence: Police arrested Brandon Lightbody, 23, of New Road on a charge of domestic violence.
Fraud: A fraudulent check was passed at Team Office Products,118 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Warrant: Police arrested Daniel McGarry, 31, of Center Road, Lowellville on a warrant for grand theft and forgery.
Theft: Police issued a summons to Charles Klasik, 46, of Matta Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of theft for allegedly taking $353 in merchandise from Walmat and passing one deactivated Walmart card for $182.33 and an active card of $128.67.
Warrant: Police arrested Kevin Anderson, 44, of Chapel Lane, Canfield on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of disorderly conduct and a Franklin County warrant for aggravated menacing.

Warrant: Police arrested Christine Smith, 34, of Salt Springs Road, Youngstown on a warrant for tampering with evidence, drug abuse-cocaine, assault, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse of marijuana.
Warrant: Police arrested Amy Cleland, 37, of Deer Creek Court on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic violation.
Theft: A purse was taken from Walmart.
Feb. 13
Complicity: Police arrested Michelle Shaw, 44, of Lilac Place, Warren on a charge of complicity to theft of a television from Walmart.
Theft: A total of $32.82 in electronics and $3.26 in food were stolen from Walmart.
Domestic violence: Police arrested Radrigo Vergara, 27, of Maplecrest Drive on a domestic-violence charge.
Lost or stolen property: A white gold men’s wedding band was reported missing from a home in the 100 block of North Navarre Avenue.
Assault: Police arrested Brianna Garron, 25, of Westchester Drive on an assault charge.
Drug offense: Police arrested Jerbrail Grhim, 26, of Chatham Lane, Youngstown on charges for possession of cocaine and marijuana, resisting arrest and fleeing and eluding. Police arrested Matthew Spain, 23, of Ridge Avenue, Youngstown on charges of possession of cocaine, resisting arrest and fleeing and eluding. Police arrested Quintasia Hopkins, 24, of Victor Avenue, Youngstown on charges of possession of cocaine, resisting arrest and possession of crack cocaine.

Warrant: Police arrested Keith Burnett, 36, of Riverview, Leavittsburg, on a warrant for receiving stolen property, a 42-inch LG TV.
Felonious assault: Police arrested Belden Molder, 37, of North Park Avenue, Bristolville, on charges of kidnapping, felonious assault and domestic violence at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Road.
Auto theft: A 2012 Chevrolet Impala was stolen from a home in the 60 block of Idaho Road.
Warrant: Police arrested Elijah Jackson, 31, of Woodcrest Avenue, Youngstown on a warrant for failure to appear in court on charges of assault and criminal trespassing.
