Chamber plans event with BWC specialist

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have an event with an industrial safety consultant specialist from the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation on March 9 at Mr. Anthony’s, 7440 South Ave.
The event will take place from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Brian Zachetti, who works at the Ohio BWC Youngstown Service office, will explain the principles and procedures of lock out/tag out as presented in Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulation 29 CFR 1910.147.

The cost is $20 for chamber members; $30 for nonmembers.
Connection luncheon

The Salem Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business Connection Luncheon will have an event March 23.
The luncheon will be at the Salem Community Center, 1098 N. Ellsworth Ave., starting at 11:45 a.m.

North American Dental Group will host job-hiring event
NEW CASTLE, Pa.
The North American Dental Group, an Inc. 500/5000 company, and one of the 12 fastest-growing companies in Pennsylvania, will host a job-hiring event for several positions Feb. 25.
The event will take place at North American Dental Group’s resource center, 11 S. Mill St., from 3 to 7 p.m.

Details set for Ohio Safety Congress
COLUMBUS
The 2016 Ohio Safety Congress is set for March 9-11 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
The Expo Marketplaces at the event offers safety services, programs and equipment for injury and illness prevention, workforce wellness, return-to-work and engineering solutions.
There also will be 200 educational sessions offered at the event and free continuing education credit.
Attendees will learn how to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses; achieve better outcomes for injured workers; reduce Workers’ Compensation costs; and keep the workforce healthy and productive.
