Reconciliation
YOUNGSTOWN
As part of the Diocese of Youngstown’s celebration of the Year of Mercy, all parishes in the six-county diocese will observe “Leaving the Light On” – An Evening of Reconciliation from 7 to 8 p.m. March 2. The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available in all parishes.
Pope Francis said the Year of Mercy should be a time when all people of faith become ever mindful of God’s mercy in their lives and show that same mercy to one another.
This event coincides with Lent, which urges Catholics to receive the sacrament as part of their journey to Easter.
