A summary of recent criminal activity in Hubbard and Girard:
HUBBARD
Feb. 11
Aggravated menacing: A Creed Avenue man alleged a family member with whom he lives had made a death threat against him.
Menacing: A West Liberty Street man said a former friend had made a threat, implying the accuser would be harmed.
Feb. 12
Drugs: Authorities responded to a possible drug overdose in the 800 block of Doris Drive, where they charged Sharid B. Hall, 32, of Doris, Hubbard, with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and one of possession of drug-abuse instruments. A hypodermic syringe, a suspected crack-cocaine pipe and a singed spoon containing a white substance were found, a report said.
Feb. 14
Arrest: Police investigating a vehicle that had gone off the road in the 800 block of South Main Street charged Michael L. Biggs of Lincoln Avenue, Hubbard, with operating a vehicle impaired. The 29-year-old Biggs also was issued a minor-misdemeanor citation charging him with failure to control a motor vehicle.
Feb. 15
Citation: A traffic stop near state Route 304 resulted in a citation charging 48-year-old William L. Wilson III of Prospect Street, Girard, with driving under suspension.
Criminal damaging: A maintenance official with Harding Park off Roosevelt Drive noticed someone, possibly in a pickup truck, had driven through and damaged part of a lawn. Damage came to $200.
Feb. 17
Theft: A Youngstown man reported his $200 cellphone stolen while in the 600 block of West Park Avenue.
GIRARD
Feb. 14
Trespassing: A man reported having seen his girlfriend’s landlord in her Morris Avenue apartment for what he felt was no justifiable reason.
Stolen property: While responding to a possible burglary in the 200 block of Church Hill Road, officers charged a Girard boy, no age given, with receiving stolen property after a man had reported $745 worth of property, including a firearm and jewelry, missing from his West Prospect Street home.
Menacing: A property manager who owns several units on East Broadway Avenue said another man with whom he is in a dispute held a long, wooden stick in his presence and in a manner that caused the accuser to feel threatened.
Theft: A Morris Avenue woman told police someone has been stealing her mail, including an item she had ordered online.
Feb. 15
Drugs: Officers handed a summons to a Girard boy, no age listed, charging him with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after having been called to an East Broadway Avenue residence, where they reported seeing a bag of suspected marijuana, a device commonly used to grind marijuana, a digital scale and a suspected marijuana pipe.
Arrest: Police took into custody 47-year-old Sherri L. Wilder of East Liberty Street, Girard, who was wanted on a warrant charging failure to appear in court. Wilder also was handed a minor-misdemeanor citation charging her with marijuana possession.
Assault: A man at a Norwood Avenue residence told police another man head-butted him in the face, causing redness and minor swelling, after having warned the accuser to leave.
Possible attempted burglary: A witness told police he confronted a suspicious man in a black Jeep Cherokee vehicle who the witness felt might be casing a home near West Prospect Street.
Feb. 16
Assault: An Earl Street woman alleged a woman with whom she lives pushed her, causing the accuser to strike a kitchen table with her face, though she had no visible injuries. The assault apparently began with a comment that was misinterpreted, a report showed.
