Warren man faces federal gun charge
CLEVELAND — A federal grand jury has indicted Airiz A. Coleman, 39, of Warren, on a charge of being a felon with a firearm and ammunition, the U.S. attorney said.
The indictment alleges that, on or about Nov. 17, 2015, Coleman possessed a .22-caliber revolver and ammunition, despite 2008 convictions for felonious assault and improper discharge of a firearm at or into a habitation in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Warren Police Department and is being prosecuted David M. Toepfer, a Youngstown-based assistant U.S. attorney.
