Man found guilty of drug trafficking
WARREN
At the end of a two-day trial, a jury found Tariq Bowers, 35, of Dana Street Northeast, guilty of trafficking in cocaine and heroin.
He could get about 15 years in prison. He will be sentenced after the Trumbull County Adult Probation Department conducts a pre-sentence investigation.
Warren police said Bowers sold crack cocaine and heroin out of a room he was renting at the Downtown Motor Inn, 777 Mahoning Ave. NW, in April 2014.
Bowers was sentenced to 61/2 years in prison in 2002 after pleading guilty in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to a crack-cocaine possession charge.

Approval sought to expand Dunkin Donuts
AUSTINTOWN
Cocca Development Ltd. plans to begin redeveloping a site for a Dunkin Donuts after a request for additional space is decided by the township zoning commission.
The current amount of space isn’t enough to build the facility and allow enough space with a drive-thru, so Brice Jackson, project manager, requested the approval of 40 additional feet to build on the property.
The Mahoning County Planning Commission will make a recommendation at the meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday for the Austintown Township Zoning Commission hearing at 6 p.m. Thursday.
