YOUNGSTOWN
Freshman Dayshanette Harris scored 51 points to led the Irish in their tournament opener. Also scoring in double figures were Simone Comer with 23 and Anyah Curd with 11. Harris and Curd each had nine rebounds. The Irish advance to Saturday’s sectional final at Lisbon. For the Bulldogs, Jenn Rhodes led with 11 points.
Cardinal Mooney 51, Springfield 40
CANFIELD
Springfield was led by Haley LaMortizella with 20 points, including five 3-points goals. The Cardinals were led by Renee Santisi, who scored 13 points. Maggie Monahan led with 15 rebounds, and Camden Hergenrother had five assists.
Newton Falls 56, Conneaut 18
NEWTON FALLS
The Tigers cruised to a sectional semifinal win by jumping out to a 37-5 lead after two quarters. Gabby Kline led all scorers with 17 points while Izzy Kline added 16. Hannah Clark led Conneaut with four points. Newton Falls plays Middlefield Cardinal at home in a sectional final on Saturday at 1 p.m.
South Range 87, Campbell 23
BEAVER TOWNSHIP
The Raiders strolled to a 36-5 lead after one quarter in their sectional semifinal victory. Maddie Durkin led South Range with 19 points while Morgan Czopur and Bri Modic each added 11. Lopez led Campbell with seven points. South Range faces Cardinal Mooney at home in a sectional final on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Columbiana 38, Crestview 27
COLUMBIANA
The Clippers hit 13 shots in their win over Crestview, eight of them from beyond the arc. Elise Hammond and Tessa Liggett each scored nine points in the win. Alexis Gates paced Crestview with 10 points in the loss. Columbiana advances to play United at home Saturday at 1 p.m. in a sectional final.
Brookfield 70, Pymatuning Valley 29
BROOKFIELD
Autumn Kirila’s 12 points and Michaela Gauding’s 11 led to an easy Brookfield win in their sectional semi-final matchup. Bailey Drapola also added 10 points in victory. Madison Hurst led Pymatuning Valley with 10 points. Brookfield plays Atwater Waterloo at home on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Canton Central Catholic 60, Mineral Ridge 10
CANTON
Hanna Risaliti led No. 2 seed Canton Central Catholic (16-4) with 16 points. No one made more than one shot for Mineral Ridge (2-20). Hannah Breedlove and Taryn Kolesar led the Rams with three points each.

McDonald 48, Lowellville 18
MCDONALD
Samantha Homa scored 11 points and Brenna Rupe nine to lead the Blue Devils (17-5). The Blue Devils advance to Saturday’s home game against Leetonia at 1 p.m. The Rockets’ Madison Warren scored 10 points.
Wellsville 48, Southern 39
WELLSVILLE
Destiny Crow scored 14 point and made 10 rebounds to lead the Tigers. Ashley Bennett made 13 points and five rebounds while Sara Dalrymple contributed 11 points, eight rebounds and three assists. Saturday, the Tigers will host the sectional final against Mathews. For the Indians, Anna Sevek scored 18 points.
Richmond Heights 67, Bristol 24
RICHMOND HEIGHTS
Top-seeded Richmond Heights led 35-8 at halftime and cruised from there. Deja Winters led the Spartans with 22 points, while Makea Scott and Autumeeze Gardner put up 16 and 12 points, respectivey. Hailee Ezra was the only Bristol player in double figures with 11 points. Richmond Heights will host No. 10-seed Newbury on Saturday.
Valley Christian 49, Heartland Christian 11
YOUNGSTOWN
No. 3 seed Valley Christian (13-7) rolled after blanking Heartland Christian in the first quarter. Imane Snyder led the Eagles with 16 points and India Snyder wasn’t far behind with 14 points. Avery Pennington led Heartland Christian with six points. The Eagles will host No. 4 seed Western Reserve on Saturday.

The Falcons had three players finish in double figures. Anthony Pangio led all scorers with 19 points while Scotty Duffy and Dominic DiFrancesco scored 17 and 11 points apiece. Brock Himmelheber finished with 18 to lead Marlington.
Mineral Ridge 72, United 64
HANOVERTON
United had no answer for Zane Rummell, who finished with 28 points to lead all scorers. Mac White added 17 points in the win while United had four players score in double figures. Kaden Smith led United with 19 points while Dakota Hill, Jake Clark and Caleb Berdine added 17, 14 and 12 points, respectively.
Salem 76, Niles 74
NILES
D.J. Pullie’s buzzer-beating three lifted Salem (14-7) in a game where he surpassed 1,000 points for his career.. The teams spent the game trading threes as half of Salem’s points came from long distance and Niles dropped in 16 3-point goals in the contest. Pullie led the Quakers with 19 points and Trey Toothman added 13 points. Pullie is one three away from owning Salem’s career record for threes and Toothman is also a three shy of a new record, the season record. Cameron Kane-Johnson made six threes in a 29-point performance for Niles (9-12). Corbin Foye and Tyrese Williams put up 16 and 13 points, respectively, for the Red Dragons.
Valley Christian 52, Conneaut 41
CONNEAUT
The Eagles were led by Eli Anderson who scored 19 points, including three 3-point goals. Milan Square was the next highest contributor with 16 points.
