The head of ABC entertainment is exiting amid low ratings, to be replaced by the first African-American to head a broadcast TV network.
ABC Entertainment Group President Paul Lee has decided to leave, the network announced Wednesday.
His successor is Channing Dungey, who has been ABC Entertainment Group’s executive vice president for drama development, movies and miniseries, overseeing drama pilots and series’ launches.
Dungey shepherded ABC hits including “Scandal,” “How to Get Away with Murder” and “Quantico.”
Cosby sues accuser, her lawyer, her mom
PHILADELPHIA
Bill Cosby has filed a sealed breach-of-contract lawsuit against Pennsylvania sexual-assault accuser Andrea Constand, her lawyer, her mother and the National Enquirer’s publisher.
The defendants are subject to confidentiality clauses covering the settlement of lawsuits Constand filed against Cosby and the tabloid in 2005.
Constand accuses Cosby of drugging and molesting her at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. Her complaint wasn’t prosecuted until December, when a new district attorney reopened it and charged Cosby with sexual assault.
